Answer:  Seven (7) on Exodus 37:23

Exodus 37:17-23 TLV

17 Then he made the menorah of pure gold, of hammered work, even its base, its stem, its cups, its bulbs and its flowers, were one piece with it. 18 There were six branches going out of the sides, three branches out of one side, and three branches out of the other. 19 Three cups made like almond blossoms were in one branch, a bulb within a flower, and three cups made like almond blossoms in the next branch, another bulb within a flower. It was just so for the six branches going out of the menorah. 20 Also within the menorahwere four cups made like almond blossoms, bulbs and flowers, 21 with a bulb under two branches of one piece, a second bulb under two branches of another piece, and a bulb under two branches of a third piece, for six branches extending out of it. 22 Their bulbs and their branches were one piece with it, an entire hammered work of pure gold.

23 He also made the seven lamps, along with tongs and censers of pure gold. 24 He made them from a talent of pure gold, along with all the pieces.

Question: What is the meaning of the name Betzalel (Bezalel, Bezaleel, or Betzalel)?

Answer:  “In the shadow of El” on Exodus 38:22

”Betzalel” means “in the shadow [protection] of El (G-d).” Bezalel is described in the genealogical lists as the son of Uri (Exodus 31:1), the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah (I Chronicles 2:18, 19, 20, 50).

Interesting about Miriam:   Bezalel was son of Uri (The name Uri means My Light, Flame, Fire).  Uri was son of Chur (Hur) was son of Caleb.  Caleb (Kalev) married Moses’ eldest sister Miriam.   Betzalel was grandson of grandmother Miriam was prophetess. Moses and Aaron’s great nephew.  Please click Bezalel. Please click on Miriam the Prophetess married Caleb

Bezalel are House Builders from the Yehudah (Tribe of Judah, Judeans).

Bezalel  was an astonishingly accomplished artisan. He was metalworker, jeweler, gem-cutter and woodworker. Exodus 35 adds that he was an engraver, designer, embroiderer and weaver, and performed “every inventive work” (melechet machashevet; vv. 33, 35). His name first appeared on Exodus 31:6: He worked with Oholiab (Oholiav) together as Ruach-filled craftsmen on Exodus 31:1-11 TLV and Exodus 35:30-35 HCSB.

Ruach-filled Craftsmen

31 Then Adonai spoke to Moses saying, “See, I have called by name Bezalel son of Uri son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, understanding and knowledge in all kinds of craftsmanship, to make ingenious designs, to forge with gold, silver and bronze, as well as cutting stones for setting and carving wood, to work in all manner of craftsmanship. Also look, I Myself have appointed with him Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. Within the hearts of all who are wise-hearted I have placed skill, so that they may make everything that I have commanded you: the Tent of Meeting, the Ark of the Testimony, the atonement cover that is to be on it, all the furnishings of the Tabernacle, the table and its utensils, the menorah of pure gold with all of its utensils, the altar of incense, the altar of burnt offering with all of its utensils, the basin and its stand, 10 the woven garments, the holy garments for Aaron the kohen, the garments for his sons to minister as kohanim, 11 the anointing oil, and the incense of sweet spices for the holy place. They are to make them just as how I commanded you.”

Exodus 35:30-35 HCSB Bezalel and Oholiab

30 Moses(A) then said to the Israelites: “Look, the Lord has appointed by name Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. 31 He has filled him with God’s Spirit, with wisdom, understanding, and ability in every kind of craft 32 to design artistic works in gold, silver, and bronze, 33 to cut gemstones for mounting, and to carve wood for work in every kind of artistic craft. 34 He has also given both him and Oholiabothers. 35 He has filled them with skill[a] to do all the work(B) of a gem cutter; a designer; an embroiderer in blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine linen; and a weaver. They can do every kind of craft and design artistic designs.
