Sukkot 2020 will begin in the evening of Friday, October 2 and ends in the evening of Friday, October 9. (15-22 Tishri, 5781). 1st day and 8th day are High Shabbat (no work allow) according Leviticus 23:33-43 TLV
The key is on Sukkot: The “first day” is to be a Shabbat rest, and the “eighth day” will also be a Shabbat rest. Hope this helps.
About Yeshua haMashiyach was born the night before on the 1st day of Sukkot time:
Mary (Miriam) was conceived during the Chanukah “Festival of Lights” 8th nights and 9 months later Yeshua was born during the Sukkot. Yeshua is the Light of World.

The Bethlehem in Hebrew: House of Bread. This small town is about 5 miles distance toward our Heavenly Mother Jerusalem. There were crowds surrounding the Jerusalem full of hotels, inns, etc same time paying census taxes. Joseph (Yosef) & Mary (Miriam) had no room at the inn before Yeshua was born.

How do we all know “manger” refers Sukkot?
“manger” means tabernacle, booth, shelter, hut, encamp, tent, temporary reside, pavillion, cottage, ……….
According on Luke 2:7 we all see:
Greek word for “inn” (kataluma)—it can refer to a hotel-like residence, but it can also be translated as “lodging-place.”
Sukkah is the singular.
Sukkot is the plural.

In Luke 2:8:
8 Now there were shepherds in the same region, living out in the fields and guarding their flock at night.
True story about “flock” were around the night. From October 15 to March 15 in the East.
In ancient times as today, shepherds brought their flocks in from the fields and penned them in shelters not later than the middle of October! This was necessary to protect them from the cold, rainy season that usually followed that date. (The Bible itself makes it clear that winter in Israel is a rainy season; see Ezra 10:9, 13; Song of Solomon 2:11.)

Yeshua was not born on Christmas Day (December 25). Yeshua was born during the Sukkot (September/October) according these scripture verses.
