Last Shabbat on 1 Adar, 5781 (February 13, 2021) on Rosh Chodesh Adar Shekalim Torah Reading – Mishpatim (Judgments, Rulings (Rules), Ordinances…..

The deep spiritual word mishpatim means “rules” or “ordinances” and is derived from the Hebrew word shaphat (“to judge”). Mishpatim (judgments) show details many laws, including laws related to slaves, personal injury, loans, usury, and property damage. 

Mishpat is a singular.

Mishpatim is a plural. The plural form of the word mishpat in Hebrew is mishpatim is derived from the Hebrew word shaphat (“to judge”). i.e. judges, lawyers, chiefs, ……at Supreme Court. I live in USA upholding the US Constitutional Laws same with ABBA and His Torah guide me thru Ruach haKodesh.

We all read on the Book of Judges (Sefer Shoftim). The Book of Judges: The Hebrew term shofet, which is translated into English as “judge,” is closer in meaning to “ruler,” a kind of military leader or deliverer from potential or actual defeat.

Hebrew word: shofet is a singular. shoftim is a plural.

Genesis 18:25 TLV

25 Far be it from You to do such a thing—to cause the righteous to die with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked share the same fate! Far be it from You! Shall the Judge of the whole world not exercise justice?”

Genesis 37:28 TLV

*silver (shekel): A shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams
