TIFERET OF CHESED: Compassion, Harmony in Lovingkindness
Tuesday evening, March 30, we count three days of the Omer.

Harmony in love is one that blends both the chesed and gevurah aspects of love. Harmonized love includes empathy and compassion. Love is often given with the expectation of receiving love in return. Compassionate love is given freely; expects nothing in return – even when the other doesn’t deserve love. Tiferet is giving also to those who have hurt you. It acknowledges the dicipline of gevurah and, nevertheless, calls for compassionate love to all.
Exercise for the day:  Offer a helping hand to a stranger.

Tiferet (Tifaret, Tifereth, Tyfereth or Tiphereth) means glory, splendour; beauty, adorn, magnificence. The word tiferet is derived from the Hebrew word pe’er, meaning “beauty”.  Tiferet is the force that integrates the Sefira of Chesed (“compassion”) and Gevurah (“Strength, or Judgment (din)”). These two forces are, respectively, expansive (giving) and restrictive (receiving). Either of them without the other could not manifest the flow of Divine energy; they must be balanced in perfect proportion by balancing compassion with discipline. This balance can be seen in the role of Tiferet, wherein the conflicting forces are harmonized, and creation flowers forth. Tiferet also balances Netzach and Hod in a similar manner. In that case Hod can be seen as the intellect where Netzach is seen as emotion. Please click Tiferet

Beautiful spiritual harmony balance meditation. It’s all about King YHWH! HalleluYAH!

Psalms 119:17-24 TLV

GIMEL ג

17 Do good to Your servant
that I may live and keep Your word.
18 Open my eyes, so I may behold
wonders from Your Torah.
19 I am a temporary dweller on earth—
do not hide Your mitzvot from me.
20 My soul is crushed with longing
for Your judgments at all times.
21 You rebuke the proud, who are cursed,
who wander from Your mitzvot.
22 Take scorn and contempt away from me,
for I have kept Your testimonies.
23 Though princes sit and talk against me,
Your servant meditates on Your decrees.
24 For Your testimonies are my delight—
they are also my counselors.
