DAY 10    TIFERET OF GEVURAH: Compassion in Discipline
Tuesday evening, April 6, we count ten days of the Omer.

Underlying and driving discipline must not only be love, but also compassion. Compassion is unconditional love. It is love just for the sake of love, not considering the others position. Tiferet is a result of total selflessness in the eyes of G-d. You love for no reason; you love because you are a reflection of G-d. Does my discipline have this element of compassion?
Exercise for the day:  Be compassionate to someone you have reproached.

Proverbs 16:31 CJB White hair is a crown of honor (tiferet) obtained by righteous living.

Proverbs 16:31 TLV Gray hair is a crown of glory (tiferet), found on the path of righteousness.

Proverbs 16:31 Hebrew Bible A hoary head is a crown of glory (tiferet); it will be found in the way of righteousness.

Rashi’s Commentary: it will be found in the way of righteousness: Through righteousness, they live long.

This above ”it’ refers Living Torah as a sign of respect and grandeur (splendor). This reminds me on Ephesians 6:1-4 TLV. Tiferet in Hebrew 8597: Tiferet (Tifaret, Tifereth, Tyfereth or Tiphereth) means glory, splendor, beauty, adornment, honour, glorious

Psalms 119:73-80 TLV

YOD י

73 Your hands have made me and formed me.
Give me understanding that I may learn Your mitzvot.
74 Those in awe of You see me and rejoice,
because I put my hope in Your word.
75 I know, Adonai, Your judgments are just.
In faithfulness You have afflicted me.
76 May Your lovingkindness comfort me,
according to Your promise to Your servant.
77 Let Your tender mercies reach me,
Let me live, for Your Torah is my delight.
78 May the proud be put to shame
for wronging me with a lie,
but I will meditate on Your precepts.
79 Let those in awe of You return to me—
those who know Your testimonies.
80 My heart will have integrity in following Your decrees,
so that I would not be ashamed.
