DAY 38   TIFERET OF YESOD: Compassion in Bonding
Tuesday evening, May 4, we count thirty-eight days of the Omer.

Bonding needs to be not only loving but also compassionate, feeling your friend’s pain and empathizing with him. Is my bonding conditional? Do I withdraw when I am uncomfortable with my friend’s troubles?
Exercise for the day:  Offer help and support in dealing with an ordeal of someone with whom you have bonded.

Pledge of Integrity

Psalm 101 TLV

A psalm of David.
I will sing of lovingkindness and justice.
To You, Adonai, I will sing praises.
I will behave wisely in the way of integrity
—when will You come to me?
I walk in my house with integrity in my heart.
No base thing will I set before my eyes.
Twisted behavior I hate—it will not cling to me.
A perverse heart will depart from me.
I will know nothing evil.
Whoever slanders his neighbor in secret
—him I will silence.
Who has haughty eyes and a proud heart
—him I will not tolerate.
My eyes are on the trustworthy of the land,
to be in my company.
One walking in a blameless way will serve me.
No one who practices deceit will dwell in my house.
No one who utters lies will endure before my eyes.
Each morning I silence all the land’s wicked ones—
to cut off from Adonai’s city every evildoer.

Walking in Righteous Integrity Life (Yeshua) of YHWH

Master YHWH (Yeshua) quoted Matthew 5:33 from Leviticus 19:12, Numbers 30:3(2), and Deuteronomy 23:22(21).

Matthew 5:33-37 CJB

33 “Again, you have heard that our fathers were told, ‘Do not break your oath,’ and ‘Keep your vows to Adonai.’[a] 34 But I tell you not to swear at all — not ‘by heaven,’ because it is God’s throne; 35 not ‘by the earth,’ because it is his footstool;[b] and not ‘by Yerushalayim,’ because it is the city of the Great King.[c] 36 And don’t swear by your head, because you can’t make a single hair white or black. 37 Just let your ‘Yes’ be a simple ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No’ a simple ‘No’; anything more than this has its origin in evil.

Interesting very excellent wisdom views:

Rabbi Eleazar said, “‘No’ is an oath and ‘Yes’ is an oath.” (b.Shevu’ot 36a)

Rabbi Huna said in the name of Rabbi Shmuel ben Yitzchak, “The ‘Yes’ of the righteous is a yes, and the ‘No’ of the righteous is no.” (Ruth Rabbah 7:6)
