Rabbinical Commentary on Pesach Haggadah every year Jewish people read and understand spiritual:

Rabbi Yose the Galilean said, “How do we know that the Egyptians were afflicted with ten plagues in Egypt, but with fifty at the Red Sea? Of Egypt it is said: ‘Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the finger of God.”’ But of the Red Sea it is said: ‘And Israel saw the mighty hand….’ With how many plagues were they afflicted by the ‘finger’? Scripture says with ten. Therefore we may conclude that in Egypt the Egyptians were afflicted with ten plagues, but at the Red Sea with fifty.” (Mechilta, Beshallah 6; to Exod. 14:31)

About the story of woman caught in adultery while Yeshua bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground on John 7:53-8:11:

John 8:6 (ESV): ….Yeshua bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. [THE EARLIEST MANUSCRIPTS DO NOT INCLUDE 7:53–8:11.] The Woman Caught in Adultery 8 53 [[They went each to his own house….The story is missing from all the Greek manuscripts of John before the fifth century. All the earliest church fathers omit this passage in commenting on John and pass directly from John 7:52 to John 8:12. The most ancient authorities lack 7.53—8.11 because this MSS shows those double brackets mean that the ESV’s translation committee does not consider this passage to be original to John’s Gospel until Church fathers and others make no mention of it until the twelfth century.  We all see set of double brackets in the ESV. Check it out. Very late manuscript to add – an early version have information:

The absence of John 7:53-8:11 in some ancient versions – including not only Coptic dialects, but also the Ethiopic, Gothic, and Peshitta versions – is another important piece of evidence against the genuineness of the passage. However, on the premises that the passage was lost in Egypt in the 100’s, and that the resultant omission had a large impact on the transmission of the text of the Gospel of John, this is not very surprising. Granting that some versions of the Gospels produced in the 200’s-400’s do not include the story about the adulteress, other versions – specifically, three Old Latin transmission-lines, the Vulgate, the Palestinian Aramaic, and copies of the Harklean Syriac – include the story. (See the appendix,  A Tour of the External Evidence, for further details.)

I found this elaborates more excellent information about John 7:53-8:11 omitting worth to read and find more. John 7:53-8:11
