All things were made through Him (Yeshua haMashiyach).

Shabbat Shalom!

I enjoy reading Torah Parashah #1. This is deep spiritual meditation what an awesome Abba Creator through His Mashiyach’s Hands!

Bereshit (Genesis) literally means IN the beginning. Bet, Beth, Beh, or Vet. Also, Beyt, Beit – It can be found spelled beit, bet or even beth. Beit means “house” in Hebrew. i.e.:

Bethlehem ”House of Bread”.

Beth means the House and the Hebrew word Lehem means of Bread. The “House of Bread” was the birthplace of Yeshua haMashiyach.

Please click the Hebrew Bet

Go back to the Hebrew Bet gematria represents the number 2. As a prefix, the letter bet may function as a preposition meaning “in”, “at”, or “with”. Bet is the first letter (word) of the Torah according on Bereshit (Genesis 1:1). Also bet connects ”through”.

Bless Andrew G. Roth also I have old AENT (Aramaic English New Testament):

Parsha #1: Bereshit (Genesis) 1:1

Hebrew Transliteration

Bereshit bara Elohim et hashamayim ve’et ha’arets.

English

  1. IN the beginning1, Elohim created the heaven and the earth.

The Targums of Onkelos and Jonathan Ben Uzziel on the Pentateuch Genesis and Exodus Section 1

BERESHITH BARA ELOHIM.
GENESIS 1 (ONKELOS) — 1 In the first times(1) the Lord created the heavens and the earth.

The above shows 1 In the first times (1) Footnote:
1. Be-kadmin, “in antiquities.” (“in eternities”). This expression, when used, as here, in the plural, is sometimes put for “eternity.” Compare Onkelos on Deuteronomy 33:27, Eloha de-milkadmin, “the Eternal God,” or, “God who is from eternity,” with Jonathan on Micah 5:2, “Messiah,…whose name is called (milkadmin) from eternity.”

I love reading what Brother Andrew G. Roth share:

BERESHIT (1:1) = in the beginning. Onkelos Targum says BKADMIN (in the eternities/beginnings) indicating ancient understanding of more than one creation event happening at the same time. While some rabbinic authorities dispute this, I have noted the Aramaic term has carried over into the Hebrew text in 1 Samuel 9:9 and 2 Samuel 20:18. Also see Micah 5:1-2 in the Hebrew. In all of these instances, the translation is “in former days,” which indicates an ongoing activity of the ancient past.

This application is also suggested by the Greek LXX reading of aparchen which indicates the first in a series of events, such as Greek Matthew 24:21. Dead Sea Scrolls, Samaritan Pentateuch and Peshitta Tanakh all carry over bereshit in the slightly altered form of barshith, so that is not really probative here. However, the –in ending of kadmin indicates a plural unless it is the normative part of a place name, which it clearly is not here.

However, within the word BERESHIT is also the first Messianic prophecy:
BAR = son (Aramaic)
BARA = created
RESH = head/chief/beginning SHET = (the) six (Aramaic)

So the Son is created BEFORE the six days of creation!

I enjoy reading spiritual Torah Weekly every Shabbat weeks. Brother Andrew G. Roth teach/share please click on One Faith One People Ministries.

The Hebrew have 22 letters

Now I want to share you all my spiritual understanding (binah) perspective on above.

Amein! Yes and I agree. Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1 are same parallel also studying basic Hebrew what I see why so far I still am steadfast faithful servant in the Eternal One. Yeshua means YHWH is Salvation. HalleluYAH!

Now we see all the above picture of Hebrew have 22 letters. See Beyt (Bet, Beit).

Very spiritual connection! John on John 13:23 is deep spiritual understanding of Yeshua haMashiyach the Last Pesach before stake (cross). The Aramaic is “the one Yeshua showed mercy to.” This was obviously John, the one who wrote this Gospel. Remember, you too can say, “I am the disciple who Yeshua dearly loves and shows mercy to.” That’s why the Book of John have spiritual revealation on John 1:1-5.

Abba YHWH sent the Word out of His Mouth and the Word created the heavens and the earth, “by him, for him and through his hands”.

John 1:1-5 TLV The Word Becomes Flesh

1 In the beginning was the Word.[a] The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were made through Him, and apart from Him nothing was made that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overpowered it.

Footnotes:

John 1:1 cf. Gen. 1:1Prov. 8:23.

The Aramaic is “everything was in his hand” (of power). See Psalms 33:6 and Isaiah 44:24.

Rav Shaul (Paul) wrote and comprehend spiritually in Hebrew bet reveals ”through” on Colossians 1:16.

AENT Colossians 1:15-20

Colossians 1: 15. who is the likeness of the invisible Elohim and the first-born of all creatures: 16. and by him was created everything that is in heaven and on earth, all that is visible and all that is invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; everything was through him and was created by him:(1) 17. and he was prior to all, and by him every thing exists. 18. And he is the head of the body the Assembly; as he is the head and first-born from among the dead, that he might be the first in all things. 19. For it pleased (the Father) that in him all fullness should dwell; 20. and by him, to reconcile all things to himself; and through him he has pacified, with the blood of his stake, both (those) on earth and those in heaven.(2) (AENT)

Footnote: The literal Aramaic reading is “by him,” whereas Greek and English texts have “for him.” Mashiyach is the creative Word through which everything was made (Psalm 33:6, John 1:1-5, Hebrews 1:1-5). The common Aramaic idiom here and in John is “through his hands” meaning as the Word, Mashiyach crafted all things according to YHWH’s blueprints. Mashiyach Yeshua emerges as the Word from YHWH’s breath and command and, as such, was with Him in the beginning (John 17:1-11).

Bless Rabbi Jason Sobel’s commentary:

……..The letter bet is attached as a prefix to the word reisheet it can mean “through,” as in “Through the First, God created the heavens and the earth.” This reading makes Reisheet the agent of Creation, which fits perfectly with John 1:1–3: “In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were made through Him, and apart from Him nothing was made that has come into being.”

In Judaism, when the letter bet is interpreted as “through,” it’s associated with God creating the world with wisdom and understanding. In Hebrew, the word for “understanding” is binah, which begins with the letter bet. The prophet Jeremiah connects understanding (binah), wisdom (chochmah), and Creation: “He made the earth by His power, established the world by His wisdom, and stretched out heaven by His understanding” (Jer. 10:12)…..
