The Mystery of 18th: L’chaim! Yeshua is alive!

Yeshua is alive on April 7, 30 CE dawn toward sunrise according Matthew 28:1-8, Mark 16:1-8, Luke 24:1-10 and John 20:1-8.

The key is 3 days & 3 nights, not 3 nights & 3 days.

Therefore the timeline from death to resurrection is as follows…

(on Chag haMatzah is High Shabbat (15th) Day 1: Thursday at 3 PM to sunset.

Night 1: Thurs sunset to Fri dawn.

(on Yom haBikkurium ”First Fruits” (16th) Day 2: Friday dawn to sunset.

Night 2: Fri sunset to Sat dawn.

(on 17th of Nisan Shabbat means Seven) Day 3: Saturday dawn to sunset.

Night 3: Sat sunset to Sun dawn. <———LQQK Matthew 28:1!

King Yeshua rose dawn toward sunrise (Sunday) on 18th of Nisan/Abib according those scripture verses.

on 18th of Nisan/Abib/Aviv

Doubting Thomas ”Twin” on John 20

Shalom in Mashiyach’s Name,

My personal belief:

Yeshua Himself Perfect Blood Pesach Lamb Substitutor (14th of Nisan) was crucified on 15th of Nisan (Chag haMatzah was High Shabbat, died on April 4, 30 CE [Thursday] at 3 p.m. because of Second Chagigah.

What is Second Chagigah?
Hagigah or Chagigah (Hebrew: חגיגה, lit. “Festival Offering”).

HalleluYAH! Yes I totally agree with Alfred Edersheim (7 March 1825 – 16 March 1889) was a Jewish convert to Christianity and a Biblical scholar known especially for his excellent books:

  • The Life and Times of Jesus the Messiah
  • The Temple: Its Ministry and Services
  • Sketches of Jewish Social Life
  • Bible History Old Testament

Edersheim’s book The Temple: Its Ministry and Services

a. This first Chagigah was offered on the 14th of Nisan, the day of the Paschal sacrifice, and formed afterwards part of the Paschal Supper.

b. The second Chagigah was offered on the 15th of Nisan, or the first day of the feast of unleavened bread. It is this second Chagigah which the Jews were afraid they might be unable to eat, if they contracted defilement in the judgment-hall of Pilate (John 18:28).

Yeshua Himself Perfect Blood of Pesach Lamb Offering as Substitute hung, crucified, and died on the torture execution stake on April 4, 30 CE Thursday, (Nisan 15/Abib 15), Chag haMatzah was High Shabbat at 3 p.m. before sunset.

Why?

Because of the Second Chagigah!   👈|

First of all I do not have problem with 14 Nisan and 15 Nisan – both viewers, please respect my view on Pharisees knew their plans something on Yeshua haMashiyach according scripture verses what I understood both First Chagigah and Second Chagigah the key is peace (shalom) offering also joyful life present YHWH-Shalom.

Please click my old ASL youtube video “Second Chagigah“ on April 12, 2020

Please click on:  Alfred Edershiem

Also, please click and read this excellent article on Alfred Edershiem elaborates why there are two views on First Chagigah and Second Chagigah. Very rich information!

The Temple: on Chapter 11 The Passover

The Three Things

We have already explained that according to the Rabbis (Chag. ii, 1; vi. 2), three things were implied in the festive command to ‘appear before the Lord’—’Presence,’ the ‘Chagigah,’ and ‘Joyousness.’ As specially applied to the Passover, the first of these terms meant, that every one was to come up to Jerusalem and to offer a burnt-offering, if possible on the first, or else on one of the other six days of the feast. This burnt-offering was to be taken only from ‘Cholin’ (or profane substance), that is, from such as did not otherwise belong to the Lord, either as tithes, firstlings, or things devoted, etc. The Chagigah, which was strictly a peace-offering, might be twofold.

This first Chagigah was offered on the 14th of Nisan, the day of the Paschal sacrifice, and formed afterwards part of the Paschal Supper.

The second Chagigah was offered on the 15th of Nisan, or the first day of the feast of unleavened bread. It is this second Chagigah which the Jews were afraid they might be unable to eat, if they contracted defilement in the judgment-hall of Pilate (John 18:28).

In reference to the first Chagigah, the Mishnah lays down the rule, that it was only to be offered if the Paschal day fell on a week-day, not on a Sabbath, and if the Paschal lamb alone would not have been sufficient to give a satisfying supper to the company which gathered around it (Pes. vi. 4). As in the case of all other peace-offerings, part of this Chagigah might be kept, though not for longer than one night and two days from its sacrifice. Being a voluntary offering, it was lawful to bring it from sacred things (such as tithes of the flock).

But the Chagigah for the 15th of Nisan was obligatory, and had therefore to be brought from ‘Cholin.’ The third duty incumbent on those who appeared at the feast was ‘joyousness.’ This expression, as we have seen, simply referred to the fact that, according to their means, all Israel were, during the course of this festival, with joyous heart to offer peace-offerings, which might be chosen from sacred things (Deut 27:7). Thus the sacrifices which every Israelite was to offer at the Passover were, besides his share in the Paschal lamb, a burnt-offering, the Chagigah (one or two), and offerings of joyousness—all as God had blessed each household. As stated in a previous chapter, all the twenty-four courses, into which the priests were arranged, ministered in the temple on this, as on the other great festivals, and they distributed among themselves alike what fell to them of the festive sacrifices and the shewbread. But the course which, in its proper order, was on duty for the week, alone offered all votive, and voluntary, and the public sacrifices for the whole congregation, such as those of the morning and the evening (Succah v. 7). 🙏💜🔥🕊️📿

Pharisees, Scribes, Sadducees, … knew! 👈

The Second Chagigah:

Bingo!  Yes I agree above on the Second Chagigah according scripture verses what they did to Yeshua before execution stake also Exodus 12 Chapter elaborate very clarification what I spiritually understood both views joyfully The Pesach Festival (14 Nisan) is 8 celebration days while Chag haMatzah (15-22) is seven (7) days according the scripture verses.

For 3 days and 3 nights, Yeshua died, was buried and rose (Alive)!

According Matthew 28:1 is the key:
Yeshua is risen on early dawn toward sunrise [April 7, 30 CE Sunday, (18th of Nisan/Abib].

Matthew 12:40 For as Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights.

Matthew 28:1-8 TLV

“Now after Shabbat, as it began to dawn on the first day of the week, Miriam of Magdala and the other Miriam came to look at the tomb.”  ‭‭

The Son Is Risen!

1Now after Shabbat, as it began to dawn on the first day of the week, Miriam of Magdala and the other Miriam came to look at the tomb.

2And suddenly there was a great earthquake, for an angel of Adonai descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it.

3His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.

4And those keeping watch were shaken for fear of him and became like dead men.

5But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know you are looking for Yeshua who was crucified.

6He is not here; for He is risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.

7Go quickly now and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead. And behold, He’s going before you to the Galilee. There you will see Him. See, I have told you!”

8They quickly left the tomb, with fear yet with great joy, and ran to bring news to His disciples.

HalleluYAH! Yes I believe Yeshua rose (ALIVE) on 18th first click John 11:17-44 TLV.

This below photo of chai reveals 18.

Now we all see 18th in Hebrew Linguistics the mystery word consists of two letters of the Hebrew alphabet – Chet ( ח‎) and Yod ( י‎), forming the word “chai”, meaning “alive”, or “living”, or “life”, or “breathing”.

The above photo of Chai  (חי) is the Hebrew word for life. The word, consisting of two Hebrew letters —chet (ח) and yud (י).

Chai refers to the number 18, because each Hebrew letter has a numerical equivalent, and the sum of chet (numerical value of 8) and yud (numerical value of 10) is 18.

As a result of its connection to the word for life, the number 18 is considered a special number in Jewish tradition. For this reason, Jews frequently make gifts or charitable contributions in multiples of $18. Very blessings!

In Hebrew, chai is often referred to in the plural form, chaim(חים), hence the boy’s name Chaim and the toast l’chaim (לחים), which, as anyone who has seen movie Fiddler on the Roof knows, means “to life.”

Today is the 3rd day of the Omer.

Begin each night’s count with the blessing:
Hebrew: “Baruch atah YAHWEH Eloheinu Melekh Ha-olam asher kid’shanu b’mitzvotav v’tzivanu al S’firat Ha-omer.”

(English: Blessed are You, YAHWEH our Elohim, King of the Universe who sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us to count the Omer.)

Psalm 119:17-24 TLV

GIMEL ג

17 Do good to Your servant
that I may live and keep Your word.
18 Open my eyes, so I may behold
wonders from Your Torah.
19 I am a temporary dweller on earth—
do not hide Your mitzvot from me.
20 My soul is crushed with longing
for Your judgments at all times.
21 You rebuke the proud, who are cursed,
who wander from Your mitzvot.
22 Take scorn and contempt away from me,
for I have kept Your testimonies.
23 Though princes sit and talk against me,
Your servant meditates on Your decrees.
24 For Your testimonies are my delight—
they are also my counselors.

Today is the 3rd day of the Omer.

Tonight, Monday night, April 18, 2022, we count three days of the Omer.

By Rabbi Simon Jacobson

     DAY 3      TIFERET OF CHESED
Compassion, Harmony in Lovingkindnes
Monday evening, April 18  we count three days of the Omer.
Harmony in love is one that blends both the chesed and gevurah aspects of love. Harmonized love includes empathy and compassion. Love is often given with the expectation of receiving love in return. Compassionate love is given freely; expects nothing in return – even when the other doesn’t deserve love. Tiferet is giving also to those who have hurt you. It acknowledges the dicipline of gevurah and, nevertheless, calls for compassionate love to all.
Exercise for the day:  Offer a helping hand to a stranger.
