Numerical value: 20
Sound: “K” with a dagesh (dot) and “KH” without a dagesh
Meaning: Palm, spoon, crown

King Yeshua means YHWH is Salvation. We all see Yeshua descends from the Mount of Olives riding donkey and baby foal toward Jerusalem, and the crowds lay their clothes on the ground to welcome him as he triumphantly enters Jerusalem*


 The Hebrew origin, meaning “YHWH remembers”. It comes from the Hebrew word zakhar, meaning to remember, and yah, one of the names of YHWH.

❤️ Zekharyah ❤️

Zechariah [Zekharyah] was a Levite of the sons of Asaph…2 Chron 20:14. Zechariah lived, and the book was written, about 520 or 600 BCE years before Yeshua was born. Wow!

Behold King Yeshua, Himself Pesach Lamb, foreshadowed wholeheartedly fulfillment Zechariah 9:9 when, He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, as the people waved palm branches: 9 Rejoice with all your heart, daughter of Tziyon! Shout out loud, daughter of Yerushalayim! Look! Your king is coming to you. He is righteous, and he is victorious. Yet he is humble – he’s riding on a donkey, yes, on a lowly donkey’s colt. 

We all read Matthew 21:1-11; Mark 11:1-10; Luke 19:28-38; John 12:12-18.

Mark 11:8-12 CJB

Many people carpeted the road with their clothing, while others spread out green branches which they had cut in the fields. 

Those who were ahead and those behind shouted, “Please! Deliver us!”m “Blessed is he who comes in the name of ADONAI!” 

10 “Blessed is the coming Kingdom of our father David!” and, “You in the highest heaven! Please! Deliver us!” 

11 Yeshua entered Yerushalayim, went into the Temple courts and took a good look at everything; but since it was now late, he went out with the Twelve to Beit-Anyah. 

12 The next day, as they came back from Beit-Anyah, he felt hungry.

    Baruch ha-ba b’shem YHWH!
Blessed is He who comes in the name of YHWH
Hoshia-na in the highest!”

The word hosanna (Latin osanna, Greek ὡσαννά, hōsanná) is from Hebrew הושיעה־נא, הושיעה נא hôšîʿâ-nā and related to Aramaic ܐܘܿܫܲܥܢܵܐ (ʾōshaʿnā) meaning ‘save, rescue, savior’. In the Hebrew Bible it is used only in verses such as “help” or “save, I pray” (Psalms 118:25).

Matthew 21:1-11 TLV Baruch Ha-Ba! Blessed Is He Who Comes!

21 Now as they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Yeshua sent two disciples, saying to them, “Go into the village before you. Right away, you’ll find a donkey tied up and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to Me. If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Master needs them.’ And right away he will send them.”

This happened to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet, saying,

“Say to the daughter of Zion,
‘See, your King is coming to you,
humble and sitting on a donkey,
a colt, the foal of a donkey.’”[a]

The disciples went and did as Yeshua had directed them. They brought the donkey and colt and put their clothing on them, and He sat on the clothing. Most of the crowd spread their clothing on the road, and others began cutting branches from the trees and spreading them on the road. The crowds going before Him and those following kept shouting, saying,

Hoshia-na to Ben-David!
    Baruch ha-ba b’shem Adonai!
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!
Hoshia-na in the highest!”[b]

10 When He entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up, saying, “Who is this?” 11 And the crowds kept saying, “This is the prophet Yeshua, from Natzeret in the Galilee.”

Mark 11:1-11 TLV Ben-David Enters Jerusalem

11 Now as they draw near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, to the Mount of Olives, Yeshua sends two of His disciples and says to them, “Go into the village ahead of you. Right away as you enter it, you will find a colt tied up that no one has ever sat upon.[a] Untie it and bring it. If anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Master needs it.’ And right away he will send it back here.”[b]

They went and found a colt outside in the street, tied at a door. And they untied it. Some people standing there began saying to them, “What are you doing, untying the colt?”

They answered just as Yeshua had told them, and the people let them go. And they brought the colt to Yeshua and laid their cloaks on it, and He sat on it. Many spread their cloaks on the road, and others spread branches cut from the fields. [c] Those going before and those following kept shouting,

Hoshia-na! Baruch ha-ba b’shem Adonai!
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!
10 Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!
Hoshia-na in the highest!”[d]

11 And He entered Jerusalem and went into the Temple. After looking around at everything, He went out to Bethany with the Twelve, since it was already late.

Luke 19:28-44 TLV Riding into Jerusalem

28 After saying these things, Yeshua was going on ahead, up to Jerusalem. 29 When He got near Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives,[a] He sent two of the disciples, 30 saying, “Go into the village ahead. As you enter, you will find a colt tied up, that no one has ever sat upon. Untie it and bring it. 31 And if anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ you shall say, ‘The Master needs it.’”

32 Those who were headed out found things just as He told them. 33 Then as they were untying the colt, his owners said to them, “Why are you untying the colt?”

34 They said, “The Master needs it.” 35 Then they brought it to Yeshua, threw their cloaks[b] on the colt, and set Yeshua on it. [c] 36 And as He went along, the people were spreading their cloaks on the road. [d]37 When Yeshua came near the slope of the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began to rejoice. They praised God with a loud voice for all the miracles they had seen, 38 saying,

“Blessed is the King who comes in the name of Adonai![e]
Shalom in heaven and glory in the highest!”

39 Some of the Pharisees from the crowd said to Him, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples!”

40 But answering, Yeshua said, “I tell you that if these keep silent, the stones will shout out!”[f]

41 As He drew near and saw Jerusalem, He wept over her, 42 saying, “If only you had recognized this day the things that lead to shalom! But now they are hidden from your eyes. 43 For the days will come upon you when your enemies will surround you with barricades and hem you in on all sides. [g] 44 And they will smash you to the ground—you and your children within you. And they won’t leave within you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.”

John 12:12-19 TLV Israel’s King Has Come

12 The next day, the huge crowd that had come up for the feast heard that Yeshua was coming to Jerusalem. 13 So they took palm branches and went out to meet Him, shouting,

“‘Hoshia-na! Baruch ha-ba b’shem Adonai!
    Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’[c]
    The King of Israel!”

14 Finding a young donkey, Yeshua sat on it, as it is written,

15 “Fear not, Daughter of Zion!
Look! Your King is coming,
    sitting on a donkey’s colt.”[d]

16 His disciples did not understand these things at first. But when Yeshua was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about Him and that the crowd had done these things for Him.

17 So the crowd, which had been with Yeshua when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead, kept on telling everyone about it. 18 It was also for this reason that the crowd came out to meet Him, because they heard that He had performed this sign. 19 So the Pharisees said to each other, “You see that you can’t do anything. Look, the whole world has taken off after Him!”

Day Four of Week 2: Netzach of Gevurah

Effective discipline must be enduring and tenacious. Is my discipline consistent or only when forced? Am I perceived as a weak disciplinarian?

Exercise for the day: Extend the plan you made on day two for a longer period of time, listing short-term and long-term goals and review and update it each day, and see how consistent you are; if you follow through.
