Memorial Day is the remembrance this last day of Monday to time to pay respect and honor those who have died either while serving their country, as a result of military men & women service, or after they have finished serving as a retired or separated veteran, war working dogs, war working horses. The Federal holiday always falls on the last Monday of May and is a day of remembrance for those who died in the service of the United States. By tradition, citizens are encouraged to pause for a moment of silent reflection at 3 p.m. on the day.
